There's plenty of time left tonight
I promised I'd have you home before daylight.
We do the best we can in a small town,
act like big-city kids when the sun goes down.
If it's not too late for coffee I'll be at you place in ten.
We'll hit that all night diner and then we'll see.
There are so many things I have to say
and I'll stay up all night to hear about your day.
We do the best we can in a small town
to act like kids in love when the sun goes down.
There's a love that transcends all that we've known of ourselves
and I'll wait for it to come.
It's got to be strong to touch my heart through it's shell
and I'll wait for it to come.

"Coffee" by Copeland

I'm thankful for grace. Without grace, I'd've given up a long time ago. Granded, I feel like a fraud right now, but I'm not confident in my feelings so I'll trust in what I know. We made a mistake, asked forgiveness of God and each other. He heard it, forgave us, and will give us the strength to move on. The only that could bring up the past is me. . .because to God, it never happened at all. We remember because He wants us to know we've been forgiven - not because he wants to constantly beat us up with it. It's His grace that astounds me. . .and his grace is the only reason I'm alive - or anyone for that matter.

I've got so much left to learn. . .I just hope I can get it all down before I die.

When moving forward, it's best to take off your rear view mirrors. God will deal with that in the end.

Mmm. . .Copeland is soothing.
